Alican Tekin

I am a Partner and registered Trademark Attorney at Devin Law & IP, an Istanbul-based firm focused on intellectual property, media, data protection and dispute resolution. I co-head the firm's IP Department, where I manage international trademark portfolios and cross-border projects, and advise local and international clients on trademarks, industrial designs and copyright. My day-to-day work covers clearance searches, filings and prosecution before the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, bulletin oppositions, proof-of-use defenses, licensing, and coordination of IP enforcement and litigation in Türkiye and the wider MENA region. Devin Law & IP is ranked in five practice categories in Türkiye in the IP STARS 2026 rankings by Managing IP. I am an active member of INTA, ECTA, MARQUES, IBA and AIPPI, and I am increasingly building AI tools into our practice for research, monitoring and drafting.
