About
I am the founder of Hinkson Law, LLC, where she represents employees, executives, founders, professionals, and other individuals navigating complex employment disputes, government and internal investigations, and high-stakes crises. My employment practice focuses on discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, executive compensation, severance and separation agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, confidentiality obligations, and workplace investigations. I advise clients at critical points in their careers, from evaluating employment agreements and restrictive covenants to negotiating executive departures and pursuing claims arising from unlawful workplace conduct. I also represent individuals facing government, internal, and white collar investigations, drawing on her background as a former federal prosecutor and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney. My experience includes complex investigations involving fraud, public corruption, bribery, extortion, money laundering, and other matters involving significant legal and reputational exposure. In addition, I advise clients through sensitive crises where legal strategy, reputation, confidentiality, and stakeholder concerns intersect. I take a proactive and investigative approach to helping clients assess risk, respond strategically, and protect their professional and personal interests before matters escalate. Before founding Hinkson Law, I served as an Assistant United States Attorney and Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan and practiced at Am Law 100 and other law firms handling employment and commercial litigation matters.
