About

My practice focuses on representing founders, business owners, and creative professionals in business and intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on early conflict resolution. I’ve spent nearly twenty years practicing business law. Fifteen of those years were spent at White & Case, where my practice included complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, government investigations and enforcement actions, and pharmaceutical antitrust matters. Today, I advise clients on trademark, copyright, contract, unfair competition, and other business disputes, helping them assess legal and business risk, develop practical strategies, and resolve conflicts whenever possible outside of litigation. I also advise clients on protecting and leveraging their intellectual property through trademark counseling, licensing, ownership agreements, and related commercial transactions. I work exclusively on a flat-fee basis. I believe clients should know what legal help will cost before we begin. My approach emphasizes practical advice, transparency, and helping clients make informed business decisions based on a realistic assessment of the legal issues they face.
