About
I practice at the intersection of technology and regulation, advising on state, federal, and international data protection frameworks (i.e., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, GLBA) and emerging AI regulations (including the EU AI Act and Executive Order 14117). My hands-on experience spans all dimensions of privacy practice: third-party risk management, policy development, incident response, consent architecture, product counseling, and privacy strategy. As part of the privacy legal team at Stripe, I partnered with cross-functional teams to evaluate AI/ML features and data-sharing partnerships, translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications, and manage data-related risk. At ACA, I conducted comprehensive privacy assessments for multinational financial services and private equity firms, designed governance structures with board-level accountability, and navigated complex multi-jurisdictional compliance obligations. In 2024, I began freelancing as a stopgap while exploring new opportunities. Gradually, my perspective evolved as I realized I could leverage my in-depth regulatory knowledge, understanding of evolving technologies, and interdisciplinary skillset to service early and growth-stage startups. Now, I’m building a practice that helps companies harness data responsibly. My focus is on providing practical guidance for managing data-related risk, building scalable privacy programs, and facilitating partnerships between aligned organizations.
