I'm Alexis Campisi, a trademark and business law attorney and the founder of Life&Lemons Legal, P.A., a virtual law firm based in the Tampa Bay area. My practice focuses on federal trademark prosecution and portfolio management, IP licensing, copyright registration, website legal documentation, and business contracts, primarily for founders, brands, content creators, and influencers. I came to trademark law after years in litigation and insurance defense, and built Life&Lemons Legal from the ground up as a flat-fee, fully virtual practice. The flat-fee model was intentional as it keeps the attorney-client relationship focused on strategy and outcomes rather than the clock, and it appeals to the kind of clients I work best with: established brand owners who take their business seriously and want a lawyer who does the same. My work spans the full trademark lifecycle — clearance opinions, use-based and intent-to-use applications, office action responses, portfolio maintenance, licensing, and enforcement strategy. I also handle the broader IP and contract infrastructure that creative businesses need to operate: influencer and brand deal agreements, MSAs, IP assignments, and website legal docs. Outside of client work, I'm actively involved in the creator economy and small business space through speaking, creating content around IP and brand protection, and building referral relationships with brand strategists, designers, and business coaches who serve overlapping communities. Life&Lemons Legal is fully virtual, which means I work with clients nationwide.
