Zaman Law PLLC is a boutique New York firm providing senior-level privacy and AI governance counsel to companies that build and use data-driven technology. My practice covers four areas: (1) privacy and data protection, including CCPA/CPRA and other state privacy laws, GDPR-related obligations, privacy program design, product counseling, and data governance; (2) AI governance and compliance, including legal review of AI systems and products, model training and data-use agreements, AI risk assessments, and emerging regulation such as the EU AI Act and U.S. state AI laws; (3) interim or acting general counsel support during leaves, executive transitions, and reorganizations; and (4) advertising and consumer protection counsel for media, consumer, and marketplace businesses. I work with startups and scaling companies that need experienced guidance before a full-time GC makes sense, established legal and compliance teams launching new products or building AI governance programs, and law firms seeking co-counsel on privacy and AI matters outside their core practice.
