The best way to explain my practice is that I provide full-service IP counsel, from protection and commercialization to enforcement and dispute resolution.
I have more than 10 years of experience in intellectual property, but for the past five years, I’ve also worked extensively in emerging technologies. First primarily in blockchain and crypto, and now increasingly in AI. Because of that, I understand not only the IP side of these businesses, but also the technology and the broader legal issues they face. I’ve worked with companies on regulatory and compliance matters, technology transactions, commercial agreements, and other legal issues specific to the crypto and emerging technology space.
My practice also works closely with boutique firms that provide corporate and regulatory services to emerging technology companies but may not have deep IP capabilities. That’s where I come in: I complement their practice by providing specialized IP counsel to their clients.
I also have a practice in Mexico, which allows us to help U.S. clients doing business in Mexico, as well as Mexican companies expanding into the United States. That cross-border capability is a significant part of what we do.
