About
My legal practice focuses on technology, intellectual property, privacy, data protection, AI, and regulatory compliance. I advise clients on intellectual property strategy, patent prosecution, technology transactions, and the protection and commercialization of IP assets. I counsel clients on CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and other U.S. and international privacy laws, with an emphasis on data governance, risk management, and the legal implications of emerging technologies. My work includes negotiating data processing agreements (DPAs) and technology vendor contracts, developing privacy policies and compliance frameworks, and advising on consent requirements, tracking technologies, data retention, and consumer privacy rights. I also advise on AI adoption, governance, and related legal and contractual risks, working closely with business and technical teams to evaluate emerging technologies and support implementation. My background in software engineering, patent law, and complex litigation brings technical depth and legal experience to my practice. I draw on that experience to help clients navigate difficult decisions with practical, business-minded advice.
