About
I am the founder of Advoco, a boutique fintech legal and compliance practice that helps financial technology companies launch, scale, and operate regulated financial products. I serve as fractional General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and strategic advisor to fintechs, sponsor-bank programs, payments companies, lenders, and embedded finance platforms. My practice focuses on product and regulatory counseling, compliance management systems, bank partnership oversight, licensing, commercial contracting, risk management, and regulatory readiness. Prior to founding Advoco, I held leadership roles at Green Dot, Roostify, and Deserve, where I led legal, compliance, risk, and business initiatives across payments, lending, banking, card programs, and consumer financial services. I work closely with founders, executives, and investors to help companies navigate regulatory complexity while building scalable, commercially practical solutions.
