I started Kinkle Law a little over a year ago and am focused on providing affordable legal services to those in the art world and creative services broadly conceived. My background is in litigation, and that's still probably about 60% of my work, but I'm trying to grow the transactional side as well. I'm representing a mural artist with a First Amendment claim in SDNY, representing a few artists in multiple lawsuits against galleries for unpaid funds, working with a death metal band to sell their catalogue, appealing an adverse ruling against a former director of a prominent non-profit on First Amendment grounds, among other things, alongside drafting various agreements for artists, galleries, designers, acoustical engineers, landscape designers, etc.
