About
Ascendia Law, P.A. is a boutique corporate and business immigration law firm based in Miami, Florida. I founded the firm to serve a specific gap in the market: sophisticated, U.S.-based legal counsel for cross-border clients who need the substantive depth of a large firm with the responsiveness, judgment, and direct partner attention of a boutique. Our practice is highly specialized in cross-border representation. We work primarily with high-growth startups expanding between Latin America and the United States, investment funds and family offices deploying capital across jurisdictions, and high-net-worth individuals navigating U.S. corporate, tax-adjacent, and immigration considerations alongside their global affairs. The bulk of our client base is Latin American, and we operate fluently in both English and Spanish, which allows us to handle negotiations, drafting, and client counseling natively in the language in which the underlying business is being conducted. On the corporate side, we handle entity formation and governance in Delaware and Florida, cross-border M&A, securities and private placement work (Reg D / Reg S), founder and investor agreements, equity structuring and vesting, commercial contracts, and outside general counsel engagements. We regularly serve as U.S. counsel to Latin American founders and operating companies establishing their U.S. presence, and as deal counsel on transactions involving offshore holding structures, including Cayman, BVI, and similar vehicles. We also handle commercial litigation matters where the underlying issues arise from our transactional work or from cross-border business disputes. On the immigration side, we focus on business immigration tied to investment, entrepreneurship, and corporate transfers, including E-2, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2 NIW, and EB-5 matters, as well as related I-9 and E-Verify compliance work for our corporate clients.
