I'm a USPTO-registered patent attorney and former patent examiner with more than 15 years in patents. Through Patent Drafters, LLC, I run a solo practice focused on drafting and prosecuting applications for AI/ML and software inventions, including provisional filings, continuation and CIP strategy, office action responses, and § 101 eligibility arguments. I also take fractional and interim in-house engagements through Fractional Patent Counsel LLC. Before going independent, I practiced at Sheridan Ross, Merchant & Gould, Faegre, and Dinsmore, and served as interim in-house counsel at LinkedIn. I hold a JD, an MS in Systems Engineering, and BS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and I bring a Navy engineering background. That technical depth lets me work directly with inventors on software, AI/ML, semiconductor, and electrical systems matters. Based in the Denver area.
