About
I am Of Counsel at Showalter PLLC, based in Chicago. My practice focuses on plaintiff-side and trial litigation, including mass torts and multidistrict litigation, consumer-rights matters, and personal injury. I bring experience managing complex, high-volume dockets, coordinating discovery and case workup, supporting motion practice, and evaluating settlement strategy. My in-house background also informs how I approach contract disputes and the business consequences of litigation. At Showalter, I work within a boutique that combines trial litigation, complex commercial disputes, and appellate advocacy with corporate and transactional counsel. Our model uses AI to support research, drafting, and document analysis, with lawyers directing strategy and verifying the work. Defined scopes and flat fees help clients plan around the cost of representation. I am interested in building lasting relationships with lawyers who need a litigation collaborator, Illinois counsel, or a trusted referral destination when a matter falls outside their practice. That may mean helping with a discrete research, briefing, or discovery project, collaborating on a larger dispute, or connecting a colleague with the appropriate attorney at our firm for appellate or transactional work. I can also contribute practical experience in case-management systems, intake automation, and responsible use of AI in legal workflows.
