Dana Murphy is a seasoned legal professional with more than 16 years of experience advising growth-oriented and private equity-backed businesses, with a particular focus on architectural, engineering, and construction (AEC) and similar professional services firms. She spent nearly a decade as in-house counsel at The Vertex Companies, LLC, an international, private equity backed AEC firm where she supported a rapidly expanding organization on a broad spectrum of matters including litigation management, complex commercial contracting, corporate formation and governance, employment law, M&A transactions, and executive-level strategic initiatives. Today, through her fractional legal practice, Dana partners with clients to deliver practical, business-focused support on M&A due diligence, commercial contract review and negotiation, licensing, corporate governance and compliance, and employment law and policy development
