About
I'm the founder of Uncommon Counsel PLLC and a commercial contracts, technology transactions, AI, data privacy, and intellectual property attorney with more than 14 years of experience advising companies ranging from startups and growth-stage businesses to Fortune 500 organizations. Over the course of my career, I've had the opportunity to support organizations including Google, Baxter International, dentsu, Publicis Media, Flowers Foods, and other leading companies across the technology, healthcare, media, and consumer products industries through Priori, Axiom, and other alternative legal service providers. My experience includes commercial contracting, technology procurement, SaaS and cloud services, AI governance, data privacy, digital marketing, ad tech, intellectual property, and complex enterprise transactions. I am licensed in New York, California, and Florida and hold CIPP/US, CIPP/E, and AIGP certifications. Throughout my career, I've worked in law firms, in-house legal departments through ALSPs, and fractional and contract counsel roles, which has given me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of businesses, industries, legal teams, and business stakeholders. One of the things I enjoy most about legal work is the variety. I genuinely enjoy fractional and contract counsel engagements because they allow me to step into different organizations, solve different types of problems, and work closely with both legal and business teams. I enjoy becoming a trusted extension of a client's team while bringing an outside perspective informed by experiences across multiple industries and organizations. I'm also interested in connecting with other attorneys, legal professionals, and people building innovative businesses. Some of the most rewarding opportunities in my career have come through relationships, collaboration, and conversations with others in the legal community, and I'm always happy to expand my network and exchange ideas with fellow practitioners.
