Showalter PLLC is an AI-native appellate and complex-litigation boutique based in Washington, DC. Before launching the firm I worked in DC BigLaw, where my work focused on Supreme Court and appellate matters. I clerked for Judge Diane Sykes on the Seventh Circuit and Judge Dabney Friedrich on the District Court for the District of Columbia, and I graduated from Yale Law School. My published writing includes ten law review articles, including three on law and AI. My thesis is that the right combination of AI tooling and senior judgment lets a small shop produce work product at the quality of large-firm partner output, at flat fees roughly half of what a Chambers-ranked appellate practice would quote.
