About

Tim has over 16 years experience in IP Law, where he has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications to issued U.S. patents. Tim has also represented clients in ex parte appeals, in ex parte reexamination proceedings, and in inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. The focus of his IP Law firm, Protectors of Tech, is on building "litigation grade" patent portfolios and ensuring a brand is protecting with strong trademark protection. Although Tim has worked with many Fortune 500 companies, Tim primarily focuses on helping innovative startups and tech companies start and scale their patent portfolio utilizing a smart, unique, and flexible patenting strategy that is aligned with the strategic goals of the client’s business.
