I work with organizations as a fractional General Counsel—either as an ongoing partner or on discrete, high-stakes matters that require experienced judgment. I focus on putting legal and compliance structure in place where it’s missing or strained—so the business can move without unnecessary friction or risk. I also step in on decisions where the right path isn’t obvious and a clear call needs to be made. My approach is pragmatic and grounded in how companies actually operate—balancing product, regulatory, and commercial considerations with the pace and constraints of the business. My background is in technology and mission-driven companies, including AI/ML and SaaS products, privacy and data use, and global expansion. I’ve led legal strategy, built compliance programs that hold up in practice, and supported executives and boards through both day-to-day decisions and moments that require a clear call. Before launching my firm, I served as General Counsel of international nonprofits and as product counsel at Amazon Web Services, working closely with engineering, security, and business teams to translate legal requirements into decisions that could actually be implemented. Clients bring me in when they need someone who can see around corners, understand how the business really runs, and help them move with clarity. I offer flat-fee/project based or subscription-style pricing.
